Parmesan Herb Bread Sticks

Don’t let sandwich crusts go to waste! If you're using sandwich cutters and want a fun (yummy!) way to use up the crusts, then this recipe is for you.

Any time we post sandwich cutters we always get comments about the wasted crusts. My kids prefer sandwiches without crusts and if it means they'll eat the sandwich then I'm happy.

Parmesan Herb Bread Sticks

  • Roughly 3 sandwiches worth of crusts, cut into pieces
  • Drizzle of olive oil (approx 2 tablespoons)
  • 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup grated or crushed up shaved Parmesan

  1. Preheat oven to 180°
  2. Drizzle olive oil over crusts and ensure they’re all coated evenly
  3. Sprinkle over thyme, salt/pepper and Parmesan
  4. Mix well
  5. Spread out on a baking tray (if there’s Parmesan Ieft in the bowl sprinkle on top)
  6. Bake in oven for approx 8-10 mins until golden and crispy!

Enjoy broken up over soup or as a snack on their own!

We've made a quick video to show you the steps to make these at home.
